I went to Strickland's for lunch this past Friday and it was stunning. The atmosphere and ambiance was an experience to say the least. It is beautifully decorated and so intimate. The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly plated. The staff is definitely something to rave about. Everyone, not just my own waiter, but everyone from the hostess, to wait staff, to the bartenders were so attentive and polite. I highly recommend Strickland's for any occasion. It is my new favorite local restaurant.

First time coming to Strickland's. Unsuspecting gem in Woodbridge that you might drive by and not even notice. A great vibe and ambiance inside. Lots of brick walls with a loft like feel and vibe that has been renovated with a super cool modern and elegant vibe. A+ on the decor Service was good, drinks and selection of drinks are excellent. Menu has lots of great options, we ordered lots of apps before the main course and various sides to sample lots of the menu. Steak was very good, snapper also good and I'm a fan of the whole fish which was executed to perfection. My only gripe is while everything was great, the prices seem to be a bit on the exorbitant side. I love nice places and the quality is definitely good. But I've been to other places with similar quality and service without this degree of the extra premium price tag.

We had a great experience at Strickland's Steakhouse! The restaurant is gorgeous, from the dining area, to the lounge, to the bar, you cannot go wrong. The service was exceptional. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly; he gave great recommendations. Hands down one of the best filet mignons I have ever had, tender and melted in your mouth. The sides and appetizers were just as good as their steaks. The mac and cheese was a hit as they used cheddar and gouda, and the brussels sprouts with bacon were so flavorful. We absolutely had to try the warm bread pudding with ice cream. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I recently celebrated our first anniversary at Strickland Steakhouse, and it was an unforgettable experience! We went during their happy hour, which, to our delight, is all day on Sundays. This made our special day even better with fantastic deals on drinks and appetizers. Our server, Arianna was absolutely fantastic! She was super attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made excellent recommendations. It was clear that they genuinely cared about making our experience special, and they succeeded brilliantly. The apps and cocktails were phenomenal! Overall, Strickland Steakhouse exceeded our expectations in every way. The stellar service, delicious food, and enchanting ambiance made our first anniversary one for the books. We can't wait to return for more special occasions. Highly recommend!

My husband and I went Friday around 2 pm. Hostess was very attentive. Gave great greeting. We sat at the bar. Bartenders were great. Mike took care of us. Had the pacherri pasta which was excellent. My husband had the meatball which he loved. There was a female at the corner of the bar. She screamed across the bar. Was drinking a bit too much and could not control herself. The bartenders did shush her and told her to quiet down. For the price of the bar - which we are truly willing to pay for quality- we would not return based on clientele's conduct. Other than that we loved the ambiance. Wish that people could control themselves to allow an experience.

What a wonderful experiences at Strickland's steakhouse in Woodbridge, NJ.. this location is very unique as the building has been around for years, it was previously a bank. The decor and architecture are stunning.. definitely a place for a special occasion and fine dining.. the service was exceptional and the food was perfect.. I wouldn't have changed anything about my experience .. the steak was exceptional and the coconut crème brûlée left a lasting impression on my party.. I would hands down recommend this restaurant for the steak and seafood lovers

Strickland's is a tremendous steakhouse that deserves your attention. It's in a building formerly a bank and the cavernous interior with the vaulted ceiling, extensive brickwork, and I-beam bracing near the ceiling, reflect the structural integrity necessary for the weight of the bank vault and the age of the building. The unique glass chandeliers appear to float the lighting elements above with the dark brick and wood floors in contrast. My friend and cigar brother made the reservation and they accommodated our half hour late arrival with absolutely no issue, given he called it in advance. Ashley took us to our upper floor table by the windows, a great place to enjoy what was to come. Amelio is a great server and is playing a role in the growing wine list. The Caymus Bonanza Cabernet at $20 a glass is stellar, full of plum and blackberries on my palate, with a beautifully round and silken mouth feel. The bouquet alone is telling you what is to come. The long finish and novelty of the experience at every sip makes this a winner at a price point not to be missed. The bread they serve is artisanal level, surprisingly light, with a great crust. They serve it with butter highlighted with sea salt crystals and another ball of maple syrup infused whipped butter. Try the salted butter first and then taste how the sea salt amplifies the maple butter. The butter also spreads easily on the bread. We both ordered the 25 ounce bone in ribeyes and I selected the herb butter sauce for mine. Each of us ordered them medium rare and we shared the loaded Yukon mashed potatoes, the mushrooms, and the Brussels sprouts. Everything came, but the steaks were clearly medium temperature. There was no ring with any pink inside. Amelio didn't take it personally and put in another ticket to reset everything, including side dishes, to make it right. This must have been the result of some inattentiveness in the kitchen, but it was immediately rectified and made right with the floor manager coming by later to ensure everything was executed accordingly. This is a decadent experience. The steak was so flavorful, juicy, and now tender at medium rare. Pink inside with a ring outside, and a nice crust whose crust could still be improved a little. The herb butter sauce was good, but not necessary for this quality and flavorful steak. The fatty parts resonate with flavor and lend the steak that extra savory to push your palate into decadent overdrive. The bacon in the flash seared Brussels sprouts punctuated the savory experience with the bacon in the loaded Yukon mashed potatoes. The Yukon mashed potatoes also paired well with the mushrooms, whose chicken broth base seemed to hook up with the potatoes, while the mushrooms remained attached to aligned with the steak. There were synergies at play as the sides and steak interacted with one another and my palate, providing that cross pollinating synergistic experience. Meanwhile, that glass of Caymus Bonanza was doing its thing too, coating my palate with the Cabernet Sauvignon big enough to play along with the big hitters on the plate, without detracting or adding something that should not be there. It's a big piece of meat at 25 ounces and that 30-45 day dry ageing concentrates that flavor onto your palate. I even grabbed the bone to get at some of the meat my non surgical knife and fork skills could not accomplish. I don't ordinarily do this, but I had to get next to that bone and experience that savory Nirvana and didn't care if someone saw me do it. It was worth it and the $170 per person with taxes and tip. There was no room for dessert. If Strickland's were in Manhattan, it would be in the lower range of the upper tier steakhouses across all boroughs. It would do more business than most any of them if they could maintain that price structure. It's that good and its four star experience warrants anyone's serious attention. Strickland's is less than a year old and already delivers at a lofty level.

The Strickland was a great vibe. The service was phenomenal and the food was even better. I had lamb chops to start, a steak of course for dinner and a few sides and drinks. My cocktail was perfectly made and the temperature of the steak was perfect. The Mac and cheese I probably would not order again just because the noodles were so large, it took away from the cheese sauce and presentation. The lamb chops were so incredible I would sucking on the bones although I was not a fan of the Thai mint sauce it came with. The only downside was the parking situation is not ideal. I would also like to see a little more diversity in the menu. For the exorbitant price we paid, I expected to have generous portions and plenty of options to choose from.
